§ 26-204.1. Federal Communications Commission rate regulations.

(a)

The city [hereby] adopts the Federal Communications Commission rules and regulations of procedures of rate regulations concerning cable consumer protection and customer service standards and additionally adopts the rules concerning cable subscriber rate regulations.

(b)

The city is authorized through the mayor to take the appropriate action to implement the above and more particularly is authorized to apply for certification of franchise authority to regulate the basic cable service rates.
