§ 6-26. Definitions.

  • [As used herein, the following definitions shall apply:]

    (a)

    Chief of police. The Chief of Police for the Leesville Police Department.

    (b)

    Parade. Any parade, march, ceremony, show, exhibition, pageant or procession of any kind, or similar display, in or upon any city street, park or public place in the city limits of Leesville.

    (c)

    Parade permits. A permit form for the event that is required by this provision.

    (d)

    Parade day. The day on which a parade takes place and for which a parade permit has been issued.

    (e)

    Public property. Property owned by, dedicated to, or otherwise under the control of the City of Leesville.

    (f)

    Roaming vendor. A parade vendor that does not have an assigned location and moves along a parade route except when actually engaged in making a sale.

    (g)

    Fixed location vendor. A parade vendor, which has either a location on private property with the permission of the property owner, or an assigned or approved location on public property.
