§ 62-62. Mayor authorized to institute additional parking regulations.

The mayor is hereby empowered to designate, within his discretion, areas or places on the public streets or highways within the city, which are considered to be extremely hazardous or congested, and to establish zones where no parking is allowed or where parking is allowed for a specified period of time, or is allowed for restricted purposes only, such as for loading and unloading, provided that such zoning shall be clearly designated by signs or paint or in some such manner, in order that a reasonably prudent person shall be duly warned.
