§ 2-137. Reserve police, uniforms and weapons.

  • (a)

    The chief of police shall, at the expense of the city, supply each reserve police officer when properly trained, and appointed with a certificate of appointment and a badge.

    (b)

    Each reserve police officer shall furnish his own sidearm and uniform.

    (c)

    The chief of police shall set specifications of uniforms and such other items of equipment of supplies for reserve police as he deems necessary in the best interests of the city.

    (d)

    Uniforms shall not be worn by reserve police, except while on active duty.
