§ 102-271. Title and purpose.

This article, titled the "Groundwater Protection Ordinance," establishes a drinking water protection critical area around each water well serving an active public water system.

The underlying purpose and intent of this article is to safeguard the health, safety, and lives of the public by protecting groundwater from contamination.
